Delete your Stingrays Quest account

Last updated: 14 October 2026 · Applies to Stingrays Quest accounts of families enrolled in Sri Lanka.

Stingrays Quest accounts are created and managed by Stingrays Swim School, so they are deleted by our office rather than from inside the app. Here is how to ask, and exactly what happens.

How to request deletion

1. Message us on WhatsApp at 074 412 8825, or email info@stingrays.lk.
2. Send it from the mobile number or email registered with your branch, and write "Delete my Stingrays Quest account". Tell us if you want all your children's profiles removed, or only some.
3. We confirm the request with you, then delete the account. You will get a message when it is done.

What we delete

• Your Stingrays Quest sign-in and parent account.
• Your children's Quest profiles: skill cards, XP, badges, quiz results and missions.
• Device notification tokens linked to the account.

This is done within 30 days of confirming your request.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records: 7 years, as required by Sri Lankan tax law.
• Attendance and stage records while your child is still enrolled in classes, because coaches need them to teach safely. If you also leave Stingrays, these are deleted 2 years after the final class, or sooner on request.

If your child is still swimming with us

Deleting the app account does not cancel classes. Your child keeps their place and their coach keeps recording progress. You can ask us to set up the app again at any time.
